ANTARA TANTRA FESTIVAL COMMITMENTS
Boundaries and Consent
At the Antara Tantra Festival, we are devoted to creating a safe and respectful space where every person’s boundaries are honored. Our community is rooted in the practice of consent, inviting each participant to listen deeply to their own truth. There will be no pressure to do anything that doesn’t feel right for you and the best tantric practice is being able to honor your truths. We encourage this awareness not only within yourself but also in connection with others. Through practical tools and gentle guidance, we explore how to clearly express boundaries, how to listen with presence, and how to ask for and give consent in ways that foster trust, freedom, and authentic connection.
Inclusivity, Diversity & Representation
The Antara Tantra Festival celebrates diversity, where every body and every story has a place. We embrace people of all backgrounds, orientations, identities, abilities, and ages (18+), honoring the richness that each person brings. Our intention is to create a culture where every participant, guide, and artist feels valued and heard — a space where voices matter, contributions are cherished, and uniqueness is celebrated.
Presenting a variety of workshop types
The world of Tantra embraces many traditions and approaches, each offering its own unique doorway into self-discovery. At the festival, we bring together a rich tapestry of these perspectives, reflected in the diversity of workshops throughout the program. Each day you’ll be free to choose from different sessions, allowing you to follow what speaks to you most deeply and craft a journey that feels authentic to your own path.
Student/Staff Interactions
At the Antara Tantra Festival, we hold clear agreements around the role of facilitators and assistants: they do not engage in sexual relationships with participants during the event. Warm and playful interactions such as hugs, shared dances, or light touch in ceremonial spaces may be part of the atmosphere, yet sexual involvement beyond existing partnerships is not part of the festival container.
We hold this approach with care and intention. The team’s primary focus is to be fully present for the whole group — to guide, support, and hold the collective journey without entering private dynamics that could affect the shared space. We also honor the natural influence that can arise between guide and participant. In a setting that invites openness and vulnerability, it’s important to maintain clarity and trust. Our facilitators are here to create a safe, loving field where everyone can explore deeply, without the added layer of navigating intimacy with those holding the space.
This commitment allows the festival to remain a place of integrity, where every participant can feel supported, safe, and free to open into their own experience.

Tantra is elegantly simple at it’s core. It invites us to bring consciousness to that which was unconscious. That is all. And it is enough. From this consciousness we find the building blocks to fulfill two great desires:
*Know who I am
*Love myself
Tantra is not about learning something new, but remembering who we are. And what we are: Complete expressions of divine love.
Tantra a journey of uniting of our heart and mind. body and soul. sexuality and spirituality. Tantra supports the release of guilt, shame and fear which hinders us in fulfilling our purpose and experiencing maximum joy and ease in this life.
The word Tantra is derived from Sanskrit root “tan” meaning to increase, expand or stretch, with tantra meaning to weave, loom or woven together. Thus it can be said to mean we increase as we bring together, we expand as we integrate. Tantra is a path to embodied bliss. It is a path of Yes. Tantra is the only practice which includes everything. Excludes nothing.
The practical application of Tantra to our modern lives offers the key to find the freedom we yearn for and intimacy of connection we desire.

Please do not bring any intoxicants, drugs, alcohol, etc. We are creating an environment where we can dive deeply into our senses – dulling them with intoxicants will not be needed and will inhibit your experience and be grounds for removal from the festival.
